## Who builds Ducseo

Ducseo is built and run by **Todd**, who has worked in SEO and GEO for 15 years. He started as a cross-border e-commerce site owner, ran a store with RMB 500 million in annual revenue, has operated more than 10 cross-border e-commerce sites and personally owns more than 20 websites across many niches.

Ducseo began as a favor: a classmate who runs an export business needed a new website. The usual options all had a catch: WordPress needs someone to patch servers and plugins, and SaaS builders charge every year while keeping your inquiries on their platform. So Todd wrote this one from scratch: no server to maintain, data in the client's own account, content handled by AI.

The setup fee is low because the code is already written and deployment is scripted. The aim is simple: more exporters with a website they own, that needs no technical staff and no platform lock-in.

- **What is Ducseo and who is it for?**: Ducseo is a website system for manufacturers and trading companies that sell B2B: product catalog, languages, inquiries, blog, SEO and GEO are built in, and an AI agent can write and maintain the content. It is built for inquiries, not online shops: there is no cart or online payment.

- **How is it different from a SaaS website builder?**: On a SaaS builder the site and inquiries live in the platform's account and the site usually goes offline when you stop paying. Ducseo runs in your own Cloudflare account with a one-off setup fee; the yearly fee is optional advisory, and the site keeps running and upgrading without it.
- **What does the ¥999 setup include?**: Help configuring your Cloudflare account, deploying the code and connecting your domain; remote installation of your AI agent (Claude Code, ChatGPT Desktop / Codex, Cursor or Grok Build) with the Ducseo MCP; and basic training. ¥999 is the launch price for the first 20 clients; after that it is ¥1,999.
- **Are there other costs?**: A few third-party costs are paid by you directly: your domain, and a subscription to your AI tool (Claude, ChatGPT etc.). Cloudflare's free plan is enough for most B2B sites; R2 storage needs a payment method on file but is free within its allowance; very busy sites can move to the paid Workers plan (about USD 5 a month). Inquiry emails use Resend, free for 100 emails a day.
- **Is the yearly fee required? Does the site stop without it?**: No and no. The ¥4,999 yearly fee buys advisory: questions about using AI for copy, content, SEO and GEO. Renew only if you want to. Without it the site keeps running and keeps receiving upgrades.
- **What does "free upgrades for life" mean?**: Every Ducseo site runs the same code. New features, blocks, designs and security fixes are deployed to every client site at no charge, whether or not you pay the yearly fee.
- **Do I get the source code?**: No. You own the deployed website in your own Cloudflare account and all of its data: content, images and inquiries can be exported and backed up. Upgrades are deployed for you, so there is no code to maintain.
- **Do I need technical skills to use the AI agent?**: No. Todd installs it remotely; after that you describe what you want in plain language, for example "turn this product sheet into an English product page". The AI saves drafts, and you preview and publish them in the dashboard.
- **Which AI tools are supported?**: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT Desktop / Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, WorkBuddy and other MCP-capable tools. The dashboard's AI Agent page has a ready-made setup for each, with your site address and key filled in.
- **Will the AI make up facts about my company?**: It is told not to. You keep a company fact sheet in the dashboard (founding year, capacity, certifications, markets...). The AI must read it before writing and may only state those facts; if something is missing it asks you. It also gets writing and SEO rules that rule out empty superlatives and keyword stuffing.
- **Can the AI break my website?**: AI changes are saved as drafts and never touch the live page until someone publishes. Every change is in the revision history, marked human or AI, with one-click rollback. Each API key can be limited (for example drafts only, no publishing) and revoked at any time.
- **Which languages are supported?**: 17 site languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and Korean, switched on as needed. Each language has its own URLs and hreflang, and the AI can translate in bulk. The dashboard is in English and Chinese.
- **Which SEO features are built in?**: Separate URLs and hreflang per language; a sitemap with true last-modified dates; Organization, Product, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage, BlogPosting and VideoObject structured data; canonical tags and per-language indexing switches; 301 redirects and a 404 log; IndexNow; zero JavaScript by default, responsive images and edge caching. An SEO report lists issues the AI can fix one by one.
- **What is GEO and why does it matter?**: GEO (generative engine optimization) helps AI search such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews understand and cite your website. More buyers now ask an AI before they contact suppliers. Ducseo provides llms.txt, a Markdown version of every page, FAQ structure, a company fact sheet and per-crawler robots.txt control.
- **Do you guarantee Google rankings?**: No. Rankings depend on competition, content and links; be careful with anyone who guarantees page one. What Ducseo guarantees is that the technical side will not hold you back: crawlable, indexable, correct structured data. New sites usually take several months to build steady organic traffic.
- **Where is my data and can I export it?**: Everything is in your own Cloudflare account: the database in D1, images and files in R2. The database is backed up to your R2 every day, 30 copies kept, downloadable from the dashboard; products can be imported and exported as Excel or CSV.
- **Can the site be hacked?**: No website is perfectly safe, but Ducseo's attack surface is small: no server to log into, no PHP or plugins, no operating system to patch. Dashboard sign-in has bot protection and rate limiting, passwords are salted and hashed, API keys are stored only as hashes, and Cloudflare provides DDoS protection and HTTPS.
- **What happens to my site if Ducseo stops?**: The site runs in your own account and does not depend on any Ducseo server, so it keeps running and your data stays with you. Only new upgrades would stop.
